About the Author

Michael Eshaghian is a registered patent attorney and has been practicing intellectual property law for over a decade. After graduating cum laude from UCLA with a B.S. in mechanical engineering, Michael got his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated with honors.

Michael began his legal career at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, a top 10 international law firm, focusing on patent litigation. He represented clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies such as Cisco, Medtronic, and Intel in U.S. District Courts, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the International Trade Commission. He then transitioned to a boutique IP firm where he expanded his practice to copyright, trademark, and trade secret matters and managed an array of litigations, including Circuit Court appeals.

After realizing that his passion was in working with his clients on a more personal level, he began his own law firm, Mesh IP Law, PC, to help companies make smart decisions about intellectual property. His practice includes prosecuting patent and trademark applications, counseling clients on IP strategy, drafting and negotiating IP agreements, and more.
